Biography

Hello! I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Information Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), hosted by Prof. Guoliang Xing. I received my Ph.D. from CUHK in 2026.

My research is Physical AI for people. One thread is multimodal sensing and activity reasoning: I build multimodal sensing systems, along with the large-scale datasets and benchmarks that make them measurable, so that models can reason about human activity rather than merely recognize it. The other is privacy-preserving and efficient learning systems: distributed training, on-device inference, and confidential model serving, for settings where the raw data cannot be exposed.

Both threads point at the same goal — systems that hold up outside the lab, in homes and clinics and on the devices people already carry, where sensing is noisy, compute is scarce, and the data is too sensitive to move.
